Donkey Kong Country is a 1994 platforming video game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was first released in November 1994, and under the name Super Donkey Kong (スーパードンキーコング, Sūpā Donkī Kongu) in Japan. The game was later re-released for the Game Boy Color (2000), Game Boy Advance (2003), Wii Virtual Console (2007), and Wii U Virtual Console (2014).
The game is set on "Donkey Kong Island" and centres around Donkey Kong and his nephew Diddy Kong, who must recover their stolen hoard of bananas from King K. Rool and the Kremlings. Development of the game first began shortly after Rare's Tim and Chris Stamper ran experiments with a Silicon Graphics workstation, rendering realistic 3D sprites. Nintendo became interested in Rare's work and soon acquired 49% of the company which culminated in the production of a new title using Alias and SGI technology for the SNES console. The Stamper brothers expressed an interest to create a standalone Donkey Kong game, and assembled a team of 12 to work on the game over an 18-month development cycle.
A revolution (from the Latin revolutio, "a turn around") is a fundamental change in political power or organizational structures that takes place in a relatively short period of time when the population rises up in revolt against the current authorities. Aristotle described two types of political revolution:
Revolutions have occurred through human history and vary widely in terms of methods, duration, and motivating ideology. Their results include major changes in culture, economy, and socio-political institutions.
Scholarly debates about what does and does not constitute a revolution center on several issues. Early studies of revolutions primarily analyzed events in European history from a psychological perspective, but more modern examinations include global events and incorporate perspectives from several social sciences, including sociology and political science. Several generations of scholarly thought on revolutions have generated many competing theories and contributed much to the current understanding of this complex phenomenon.
Donkey Kong (ドンキーコング, Donkī Kongu, [dõŋ.kiː kõŋ.ɡu͍]) is a series of video games featuring the adventures of a gorilla character called Donkey Kong, conceived by Shigeru Miyamoto in 1981. The franchise mainly comprises two different game genres, plus spin-off titles of various genres.
The games of the first genre are mostly single-screen platform/action puzzle types, featuring Donkey Kong as the opponent in an industrial construction setting. Donkey Kong first made his appearance in the 1981 arcade machine called Donkey Kong, in which he faced Mario, now Nintendo's flagship character. This game was also the first appearance of Mario, pre-dating the well-known Super Mario Bros. by four years. In 1994, the series was revived as the Donkey Kong Country series, featuring Donkey Kong and his clan as protagonists in their native jungle setting versus a variety of anthropomorphic enemies, usually against the Kremlings, a clan of crocodiles, and their leader King K. Rool. These are side-scrolling platform games.
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! is a 1996 adventure platform video game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was the final instalment in the Donkey Kong Country series to appear on that console. Donkey Kong Country 3 was released in late 1996 in North America, Europe and Japan. The game was ported to the Game Boy Advance in 2005 with a different soundtrack and added features. The game was released on the Wii's Virtual Console service in North America on 24 December 2007 (unavailable from 16 November 2012 until 26 February 2015), and the following day in Europe as a special Christmas update (was unavailable in Europe from 25 November 2012 until 30 October 2014) as well as for Wii U on 30 October 2014 in Europe, on 26 November in Japan, and in North America on 26 February 2015.
Donkey Kong Country 3 is a platform game where players control Dixie Kong and her cousin Kiddy Kong through 48 levels. Many of the gameplay elements from previous games in the series see a return in this game, such as barrels, bonus levels which reward the player with special "bonus coins," DK coins, animal helpers and co-operative play. Both of the two playable Kongs have unique abilities, such as Dixie's ability to slow her descent by spinning her pony-tail, and Kiddy's ability to bounce across open water. The Kongs can also throw each other around levels to break cracked floors, hit switches or reach secret areas.

The banana revolution is a message delivered during all of our bullying prevention edutainment presentations. This is a clip of this message delivered to middle school students during their bullying prevention school assembly. The overall message is that bullying is a learned behavior, but just because it's what you've learned, doesn't mean that it's the right thing to do, and you have the power to make a choice, change, and do the right thing, just like how you can change the way you open a banana.
This is a video of me creating the arcade game 'Snake' in LittleBigPlanet 2, shown at 8x speed. The level as shown took about 10 hours to make. You will not find this level on LBP.me because it is not functional enough to warrant publishing. This video is only here to demonstrate what it looks like to build a more logically inclined level; it is not intended to serve as a tutorial on how to build a Snake level or do anything else in Create Mode. --- 'Arcade Classic - Snake, by cvb23e http://lbp.me/v/zeb701 'LittleBigPlanet 2 MINIS V2' by Hanfi1311 http://lbp.me/v/4wnqbx --- Donkey Kong Country 3: Double the Trouble http://dkc3.ocremix.org/ Thump Brothers (Brothers Bear GBA) - 2:19 by Flexstyle http://youtu.be/530z9Oi2ZZE Unfinished Business (Swanky's Sideshow) - 4:59 by Matt Drouin...

I don't need no aggravation
I don't want your lies
And when I told you that I only want
What's best for you
I see the secret in your eyes
I'm all right
We're all right
Let's start a revolution, yeah
Roll away the stone
I don't need no affirmation
I just wanna take you home
And if I told you
That I could not keep a secret
Would you tell me anyway
I'm all right
We're all right
Let's start a revolution, yeah
Roll away the stone
I won't ever
I don't know
I can't ever
Let you go
I'm all right
We're all right
Let's start a revolution, yeah
Roll away the stone
